We may also use photos or content you have shared or created as part of our agreement.

We use this data to communicate, fulfill agreements, and promote our brand. If you do not wish to provide the required information, we may be unable to proceed with the collaboration or issue payment.

The legal basis is the agreement we have with you, or our legitimate interest in promoting CHORÉL’s brand.

Without this information, we cannot assess your application. If you are hired, we will provide a separate privacy policy relevant to employment.

We base this processing on our legitimate interest in managing recruitment.

3.7 Legal and Operational Obligations

We may process personal data for legal compliance, such as obligations under tax or accounting laws, or in connection with business restructuring or the sale of assets. Personal data may also be retained to comply with recordkeeping laws, such as the Danish Bookkeeping Act, which requires us to store accounting documents for five years.

In such cases, our legal basis is compliance with applicable legislation or our legitimate interest in managing our business responsibly.

4. Data Sharing and Transfers

Your personal data may be shared internally with employees or teams who require it to provide our services. It may also be shared externally with service providers such as IT systems providers, payment processors, logistics partners (e.g. Shipmondo), legal or financial advisors, or public authorities when legally required.

In some cases, data may be transferred outside the EU/EEA. When this happens, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), or other transfer mechanisms under GDPR.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or to meet legal obligations. For example, we retain order records and invoices for five years to comply with bookkeeping requirements. Data related to customer support or newsletter consent is stored for a shorter period and deleted once it is no longer necessary.

When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention practices.

6. Your Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. You may also object to processing in specific circumstances, request data portability, or withdraw consent where applicable.
